Although there are a few different names out there, LASER therapy stands for Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation. Want me to speak English now? In simple terms, it just means there is a big, intense, highly focused beam of light that penetrate tissue and help promote healing and strengthening in many areas. We use a class B laser on horses here at the center because it is the safest for both human and animal and seems to work the best for our needs. The results have been astounding and horses that came in dead lame walked out the door sound!

You know how the only thing you can seem to remember from high school is "the mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell" but even though you can rattle that off faster then your cell phone number, do you know what it means?
